I had the pleasure of touring the Brewhouse Inn & Suites today and was intrigued by the history the owners preserved in the hotel and had to share some photos. The hotel has very unique event/meeting spaces you're looking for something out of the ordinary for a corporate meeting or holiday party.
Milwaukee has many unique venues to hold evening events/receptions. . According to a recent article published in Meetings Imagined and from a recent white paper released by the International Association of Exhibitions and Events, three trends will define how successful your event will be. They are:
1. Wireless devices and mobile computing will be extremely important. How you adopt that technology will be very important to your event in the future. 2. Creating an experience for attendees. Using social media to promote that event or experience will prove helpful in generating buzz for the event. 3. The Milwaukee Bucks (Milwaukee's NBA Basketball team) is constructing a new arena downtown Milwaukee that will be state-of-the-art when it opens in late 2018 for the season. One of the new features is called Live Block, an outdoor room that will feature a Craft Brewery, 3 on 3 Basketball Tourneys, a temporary stage for outdoor concerts that will hold up to 12,000 people and much more. I attended IMEX America this year and took advantage of Smart Meetings Monday. One of the sessions was discussing the changes on the horizon for the Meetings and Hospitality Industry in 2018. The key points were:
1. Cities are becoming the venue - attendees want to experience what is unique to the city. 2. Millenials are changing the traditional meeting formats. 3.
