Today is the opening day of Summerfest, the world's largest music festival happening on the shores of Lake Michigan in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.   About 800 live music acts will perform on 11 different stages over 11 days running from, June 28 to July 2, and July 4-9.   The Chicago Tribune featured an article about the History of Summerfest over the past 50 years.  It's very interesting, you can read the article here.

A new hotel brand just opened in Milwaukee this week, it is the new Westin Hotel Milwaukee.  It is the first Westin-branded hotel in the State of Wisconsin.  It features 220 rooms within nine stories and is located at 550 N.
