2018 Meeting Trends

According to a recent article published in Successful Meetings magazine, they surveyed corporate, association and third party planners and asked them what the top trends for meetings would be in 2018.   According to the survey, 59% reported providing quality meetings on a limited budget, 55% reported that managing safety and security risks for their meetings will be key in 2018 among other items listed.     The most common areas for cost-cutting were:   55% - Reducing the Food and Beverage budget, 30% - Offering fewer optional activities and 27% - Avoiding beach/resort destinations were in the top on the planners lists.
