Top 10 Meetings Trends to Watch in 2019

Benchmark recently announced 10 Top meeting trends for 2019.   Several of them are featured here:  
1.  Food for the Soul  - Fresh is what it's all about - locally sourced, in small bites, enjoyed interactively family-style.   
2. Preference for Independent Properties -  Flexibility, customization, authentic and unscripted experiences all rank high in the minds of a planner.  There is also the commission issue as well, they prefer working with independent properties for these reasons.  
3).  What Millennials want from meeting venues - They want multiple plug in's and USB ports in the meeting rooms, public spaces and their guest room.  In addition they want entertaining and fun activities on and off property and non-traditional seating.
