Milwaukee one of 3 finalists for 2020 Democratic Convention

According to the Milwaukee Business Journal, Milwaukee has made it to the top round of cities being considered to host the 2020 Democratic Convention.   The other two cities also being considered are Houston and Miami Beach, after the fourth finalist Denver dropped out.    According to Alex Lasry, chairman of the Milwaukee 2020 DNC convention bid committee said "Milwaukee has everything the DNC needs to put on a great convention:  a brand-new arena, co-located convention space, and plenty of hotel rooms.  Milwaukee knows how to handle big events and we know how to put on a great party.  There is no place that will be more affordable for delegates and has better weather in July than Milwaukee."   You can read the entire article here.
